Help and Troubleshooting

How do I add a layout manually? (Don't get overwhelmed it's simple)

- Choose your layout.
- Select the "Download Background" option. This will save the background to your computer.
- Log into your Twitter account.
- Click on "Settings". It is located at top of page on the right.
- Click on the "Design" tab.
- Scroll down and select "Change Background Image".
- Using the "Browse" button, find where you saved the background image and select it.
- Next make sure you have checked the box "Tile Background".
- Then click "Save Changes".
- Next,  select "Change Design Colors". When you chose your layout you may of noticed something that looked like this:

Background: #eff056
Tile: Yes
Text: #f69898
Links: #f69898
Sidebar: #eff056
Sidebar-border: #f69898

These are the color codes you will need when changing the design colors. They will coordinate with the colored squares you see on the "Change Design Colors" page. Simply click on one of the colored squares and copy/paste the color code for the corresponding box. Explained further, click on the colored square titled "background" a window will pop up, type or paste in the background color from your layout. Repeat this for all the colored squares.

Finally, click "Save Changes". You're done!

I used the auto-post feature and my background did not tile on my profile?

On a rare occasion the auto-post feature worked but due to a small glitch the background does not tile. This can happen for various reasons, one being Twitter is running slow at the moment. What can you do?

1. From your Twitter profile, click on settings, then click the design tab and check to see the tile background box is checked off. If it is not click the little box and save. If it was checked off try refreshing the page.

2. If the above did not fix your problem, you can try to auto-post your layout again or you may manually add your layout. See above for detailed instructions on how to manually add a layout.
